Welcome

Welcome to Autonomy, the Shropshire based self-help and social group for young people and adults who have Asperger's syndrome (AS), (diagnosed or undiagnosed) run by Sara and Eric Heath who have personal experience of Asperger's syndrome.

Autonomy runs regular free social events throughout the month and you are welcome to attend on your own or with a friend/carer/parent/partner (though as the majority are held in pubs under-18s must attend with a parent or carer).

Our next AutonomyPlus+ Introduction to Asperger’s Syndrome session is from 9:30- 4pm on Thursday June 14th at Shropshire Wildlife Trust, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury SY2 6AH. Our Voices of Women session will be from 1-4:30pm on Tuesday May 22nd at the Training Centre, Racecourse Crescent, Shrewsbury, SY2 5BP

Telford: Pub social at the Severn Gorge pub, Southwater Way, Telford TF34NL on Monday June 4th from 7:30pm til closing time! (Please note that they will charge Sunday prices for the carvery and will stop serving meals at 8pm)

Shrewsbury: Our next pub social event will be at the Loggerheads, 1 Church Street, Shrewsbury Town Centre, SY1 1UG (just up from Waitrose) from 7:30pm on Tuesday May 22nd.
