What is Autonomy?

• Autonomy is a Shropshire support group for young people and adults who have Asperger's Syndrome (AS), (diagnosed or undiagnosed).
• Autonomy is run by Sara and Eric Heath who have personal experience of Asperger's Syndrome
• Membership of Autonomy is free.

Autonomy offers:

• Telephone advice and support (for people with AS and/or their carers)
• Social activities
• Friendship
• A free newsletter by mail or email
• Opportunities to meet others with Asperger's Syndrome

Autonomy can also help with:

• Advocacy
• Social skills
• Employment issues
• Education issues
• Strategies and advice
• Problem solving
• Learning about Asperger's Syndrome
